I wanted to make sure it was both functional and stylish, and I feel like it's the best of both worlds!

The clutch measures approximately: 11" high by 7" long,

and has two interior pockets to help keep everything organized.

This item is sewn with stiff interfacing {to give the clutch shape} and a super thick interfacing {to help protect your items}. The combination of the two gives this clutch the perfect balance of structure and cushy goodness!

Casual Monday

Today was Monday...

and we were keepin' it casual.

So casual that we didn't wear pants.

Having the sudden urge to get out of bed at 11:45 pm to clean your ears...

Having a bird fly into my studio {yes, while I was in it!} and then having another bird {on a different day!} fly into my house! Not sure what I ever did to the bird species, but they are clearly seeking revenge. I swear, I have not moved so fast or screamed so loud in quite some time.

Giving my 22 month old son a banana in the car on the way to swim class. Definitely not my brightest idea ever.

Changing a poopy...and I mean POOPY diaper in the front seat of my car 3times in one week.

Yeah, beat that record.

Apparently, Isaiah has impeccable timing when it comes to poo.

A Sticky Schweenie Poo {and magnet love}

If you had a schweenie poo named Lenny,

who got stuck to fly paper at your parents house,

and then had to take a vaseline bath to get the 'sticky' out,

Hoping after a few more baths and baby powder-ings,

last night I posted a few sneak peek pictures of a product I re-vamped and made even more functional!

The Shabby Chic Chenille burp cloth!

These burp cloths are bigger and more luxurious than ever!

Each cloth measures approximately 10"X18"

{that's huge!}

 and is backed in chenille.

{sooo soft}

They're the perfect size to catch whatever your little one may be spitting out,

plus, they double as a changing pad in a pinch.

As a mommy, I can tell you that burp cloths really are the one thing that you can't have too many of.

It's so nice having enough of them that you're not constantly doing laundry to find a clean one.

So,

Sneak Peek {updated product}

Working on re-vamping a product for the shop!

{new and improved can't be bad, huh?}

They'll be making their official debut tomorrow,

but for now,

any guesses?!

Homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette {and a shop update!}

I'm fairly convinced that making your own salad dressing is the only way to go.

In addition to choosing the ingredients

{no thank you, monosodium glutamate}

it's waaaay cheaper than buying it!

This is my all-time favorite salad dressing recipe...it goes great with any type of salad

{and we eat lotsa salad during the summer around here}

Balsamic Vinaigrette

3/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar

1 1/4 cup Olive Oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

garlic {1 clove or a dash of powder}

combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender

and puree it up!





pour into a mason jar

{or other jar with a lid}

and store in the fridge!

Delish!

and SEE

super easy, huh?!

Now go make some! :)
