Saturday Snapshots

We had a really great day,

but it wasn't without some major meltdowns from a sad toddler.

Zaiah fell on the concrete, which was a big deal to him.

{for those of you who don't know, my sweet Zaiah is very sensitive and not too adventurous, so he doesn't end up getting hurt too often}

I swear I kissed his 'ouchie' at least 37 times

after Zaiah kept saying "mommy, kiss, ouchie".

And every single time he'd look down at his knee he'd start the crying all over.

We had walked downtown and were a few miles from home,

so we bought him a cookie and a monkey balloon animal and proceeded with our day.

{I know, mom of the year award, huh?}

Anyway, this is what we did:

Visited the saturday market and checked out the adorable tie dye booth...

stopped by the balloon man

{who made Zaiah a monkey}



And went to a super cute buggy birthday party for Zaiah's best buddy.

After a much needed 3 1/2 hour nap, Isaiah woke up in a much better mood :)

Tomorrow, our little fam is packing up and heading to the coast!
